Agaton was a man from Zambales in the Japanese Liberation time. He was a very learned man and was very talented in debate and logical reasoning. In fact, he had a very good reputation among the tough lawyers and scholars of his time. However, he did not pass the  Bar examination when he took it for the first time. When he failed to find his name on the pass list, he threw a tantrum and angrily shouted that the examiner must have been blind. A Judge in town stood nearby with a smile watching Agaton making a scene. Agaton then transferred his anger to the Judge. (more…)

Radical Change

Malacañang opted not to give much attention to the bishops’ statement when The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) denounced what it called the “worsening” corruption in the administration and called on the public to support radical changes in the government. CBCP President Angel Lagdameo said there is a need to set up a new government that will end the “social and moral cancer.” (more…)

Finally after a long battle with US Immigration Bolante will be deported.The Immigration judge don’t buy the stories, his honcho lawyers trying to portrayed that his life is in danger.

Bolante’s allegations that he was being hunted down by the New Peoples Army.I think the US Immigration judge don’t believed that the NPA are in Malacanang, Bolante was merely running away from the Senate Committee on Agriculture investigating the fertilizer scam where he allegedly played a major role.

The NPA don’t want him dead,Filipino people and farmers don’t want him dead,I don’t want him dead.We are waiting for his good song rendition on who’s a better singer.Bolante or Bugoy? Jun Lozada entertained the public and became famous for his “Obladi-Oblada” (more…)

America Needs Mc Cain

Over the past few weeks, Americans have watched helplessly as the nation’s financial infrastructure crumbles around them — and their political leaders scramble for “solutions” intended to “restore confidence” but which accomplish the opposite by laying bare the stark fact that nobody really knows what to do.

The nation is likely in a recession, perhaps heading for a depression. The stock market bounces around like ping-pong balls in a wind tunnel as individual retirement accounts shrivel. (more…)

Gloria Arroyo has rewritten history and provided a new reason as to why she always lies,in fact if we compared her to Pinocchio her nose will be longer enough to measure the depth of hell. Now, Gloria Arroyo has been ridiculed as “lost in space” and “publicity-hungry” for trumpeting a phantom $10 billion rescue fund for Southeast Asian nations suffering from global financial turmoil.

The Philippines President’s defenders scrambled to explain her gaffe as “over-excitement”, after World Bank officials denied the claims and the IMF refused to confirm any multilateral rescue plan. (more…)

McCain accused Obama of promulgating “class warfare” and introduced “Joe the Plumber” to America.

“Joe wants to buy the business that he has been in for all of these years, worked 10, 12 hours a day,” said McCain. ” . . . But he looked at your tax plan, and he saw that he was going to pay much higher taxes.”

He continued: “When Sen. Obama ended up his conversation with Joe the Plumber — we need to spread the wealth around. In other words, we’re going to take Joe’s money, give it to Sen. Obama and let him spread the wealth around. . . . The whole premise behind Sen. Obama’s plans are class warfare.” (more…)

Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen riled Republicans  after he compared Barack Obama to Jesus Christ and suggested Sarah Palin is akin to Pontius Pilate.The Tennessee Democrat, who supports Obama, was on the House floor giving a one-minute speech when he offered the comparisons.

“If you want change, you want the Democratic Party,” Cohen said. “Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, who our minister prayed about. Pontius Pilate was a governor.” (more…)
