The Democrat will blame Bush again and Mc Cain will be guilty of association. Did President Bush unconstitutionally usurp power and seize control of the military forces of the United States in violation of the commander in chief provisions of the Constitution, as many claim, or did Congress specifically authorize the attack on Iraq?
In October of 2002, Congress passed House Joint Resolution 114. This resolution, which was not a formal declaration of war, authorized the use of military force against Iraq. A review of the resolution shows it was Congress that determined Iraq had “nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons programs and the means to deliver and develop them.” It was Congress that determined Iraq posed “a continuing threat to the national security of the United States…by, among other things, continuing to possess and develop a significant chemical and biological weapons capability, actively seeking a nuclear weapons capability”. It was Congress that determined Iraq was “supporting and harboring terrorist organizations.” It was Congress that determined “members of al Qaida, an organization bearing responsibility for attacks on the United States…are…in Iraq.” It was Congress that determined Iraq was “in direct violation of its obligations under the 1991 cease-fire and other United Nations Security Council resolutions.” And it was Congress that determined that all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions would be enforced–”through the use of force if necessary.”
Although it is true that the people of Iraq are not happy that their country is being occupied by Americans, those who are fighting now are not their representatives – they are people who belong to the former regime of Saddam. They are doing everything they can to stop or delay an improvement in the life for the ordinary Iraqi. They are rapist and professionals in the art of tortures during the former regime’s existence.
Maybe some Democrat ideology won’t allow them to see the truth. But what about the ordinary people went through at the hands of the Saddam’s regime. Extra judicial executions were developed into a fine art. The method used included the use of chemical weapons against civilians – Kurds and Shi’ea. There were mass executions by firing squad; burying people alive as in the Anfal campaign where around 200 000 Kurds died; or tying heavy weights to their feet and pushing them into the rivers while alive. Poisoning them through the use of rat poisoning; bleeding prisoners and detainees to death. Assassination by shooting – so called ‘accidental death’. All of this has been document by Amnesty International.Saddam threatened 22 million Iraqi people. Are they not a valid reason for US congress to act?
Democrat must not blame Bush, because they did not do a good job to stop him in the first place in Congress, Bush did not mislead the American people concerning the reasons for the war.It was Congress that made the determination that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Since a president is merely the arm of Congress when it comes to the use of military forces in an offensive capacity, any blame for the war, good, bad or otherwise must be laid squarely on the shoulders of Congress because a president is powerless to act without authorization and direction from Congress.
These is the problem about some person or individual who are misleading the people in painting a picture that Bush is the advocate of darkness,He get too much blame while Democrats in Congress gets off scott free when something goes wrong. Since it was Congress that determined Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and that body, including Senator John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, authorized the Bush to attack Iraq to protect the security of the United States and enforce United Nations Security Council Resolutions,
Even the perception of right and wrong is incorrect, as we have watched international terrorists kill innocent life. This must stop and International Terrorism is unacceptable on our Planet, we must take a stand and rid the world of this problem which is holding back all mankind in the future progression that is deserved, warranted and earned.
Defeating international terrorism is a priority. We do not need fear in our civilizations or disruptions to our infrastructures. Therefore all International Terrorists must be removed completely from the Planet immediately. They have attacked us first. We are justified and must prevail. Completely and without remorse or backing off. It is time, time to secure our future against radicalism and International Terrorism. It must be done. We need strong leader to stand against them not a “girly man” (barrowed from Arnold) who won’t flex his feminine muscles and instead he wanted to embrace them.
The Machiavellian World is one, which is quite evident in the primate politics of the human species. Without denial of this fact we must defeat the International Terrorists in the present period who threaten the United States and the first world. Days gone by are irrelevant to this situation. The United States of America is the greatest nation in the history of recorded written history and it must continue . We cannot allow rhetoric or past perceptions of human events to cloud our judgment or our inevitable victory. We must do what is best for our people and that means deleting all International Terrorists on the opposing side immediately and completely.
Those who are saying that Mc Cain is the 3rd generation of Bush obviously those people who oppose the United States and unfortunately some liberal Democrats who are using this as political fodder to smoke out the former occupant of “Hanoi Hilton” and open the White House door to inexperience muslim who turned Christian which by the way makes him an apostate in the eyes of all Muslims. His wife is not even proud to be American and his preacher for more than 20 years is a racist,anti-white and anti-Americans.
